That is your crown bro
U r fine
Oh shut up and stop dismissing this poor boy for the love of god. That’s not f*****g helpful!
@Ardent you are young yet, so I would really not recommend using antiandrogen treatment as yet. First thing you have to do is get to a dermatologist for a diagnosis, and get some blood tests so you know exactly what you’re working with. Do you have a family history of hairloss on your mother or fathers side?
You are still developing and jumping straight on to Finasteride could really mess up your natural hormonal profile. My suggestion is look into what you can do to keep things at bay without terrible systemic side effects. This would of course limit you to mostly topical treatments, and sadly the ones which have the least side effects tend to be more expensive. You could try topical RU58841, but even so that can still give some systemic side effects. You might like to try topical 5% minoxidil, but in my opinion you should see if other things work before you use minoxidil. minoxidil can be a nightmare.
Your other options could include PRP (it’s pricey, but you could see if your parents could help), or laser therapy. None of these are a magic bullet sadly, and if indeed you do have genetic hairloss, you will eventually need to use an antiandrogen. There’s no way around that.
To summarise - see a dermatologist. Get a clear idea of what sort of hairloss you have. If it’s Androgenetic Alopecia, stay away from oral antiandrogen for a while. You are too young. Think about topical antiandrogens. Maybe minoxidil. Maybe laser and prp. Good luck.
