The most probable is you have genetic alopecia, but right now you have almost 100% of the hair. So in the next 2 or 3 years you can measure your hair lose progression and make then a decision.

I don't agree young people starting treatments when they don't really need them, but anyone decides. I think you won't be bald as rapidly as your father was. However, if the short term future concerns you go to the dermatologist's, because young people shouldn't try minoxidil or finasteride by themselves. Right now you can start using shampoos that help you a little bit to lose less hair (read here).

yea, you may have a little loss but not much and yes acting early because it is easier to keep hair than to grow it back. I use Nizoral every other day and a regular cheap shampoo everyday. I also use morocco method in the morning with miconazole.Have you tried Nizoral? It is pretty sudsy.

You do not have any pronounced loss or indication that you are receding in Androgenetic Alopecia fashion, yet, if you have Androgenetic Alopecia at all. I would advise you not to jump on meds yet as you have no conclusive signs of Androgenetic Alopecia. Meds are basically lifetime commitment and you are too young to get on that long journey. I would keep an eye for several months and see if there are signs, such as your temples are receding or not. Only then, come back and list your progress/pictures to see what can be done.
