I see all these teens that post, im i receding and have a near perfect hairline. Welp mine is visbly receding and I just wanted to post it. I take of my hair, no products, no heat, im careful with it, dont excesively use shampoo, never leave the house with wet hair. I just dont know why so soon.

I know the camera angle doesn’t help, but your forehead looks naturally large like mine.
Have your temples always gone back quite far? 14 does seem incredibly young to have such recession.
Unfortunately at your age you are four years too young to be taking finasteride and applying minoxidil.
I’m not going to give you any sh*t self-acceptance advice because I know it doesn’t make a difference. It must be absolutely devastating.

Man I’m also 14 and it’s pretty bad just the worrying never stops good luck
My phone wasnt letting me upload certain pictures and i know the angle is wierd but yh my hairline recedes. Ive always had a medium forhead just since last year i started receding. Currently it recedes 4 cm. Its a big confidence killer and I know worrying doesnt help but i just cant help worrying. Im 14 years old for gods sake most men only start balding at 30.
Also i hate reactions of when i show people, my mum saying im not receding when i clearly am, the rest of my family saying i need to man up and not care about my looks, or others that tell me its not that bad when i can clearly see shock in thier initial reaction.

This is just typical of the reaction you get from family. You need someone to tell you the hard truth so you can plan and move on. Kind words only ever mask the severity of the situation. Someone needs to tell you that — yes, you are balding and it must f*****g suck.

I started receding at 13 too. I would do anything to just simply postpone this. Receding hairline is inevitable for me but could i just have normal hair in my youth yknow. My hair is also very weak, every time i run my hands thru it i lose like 4-5 hairs. Honestly at this rate ill be completley bald at 18. My plan is to get a hair transplant at 18. Its just unfair that one of my biggest problems at 14 is balding.
Some people laugh or mock me but honestly it doesnt bother me what they say, the worst thing is everytime i look at my hair all these thoughts just bombard me and my family reaction, they literally get mad at me for worrying. Im a pretty confident guy and never had many insecurities growing up until now.wow im really insecure about my hairline. And being a guy and insecure no one cares. Just 'man up'
