I'm Honestly Think My Finpecia Is Fake

I'm the last person who would ever think a company would make money faking off such a low-profit drug.

My hair loss began with diffuse thinning, first discovered by a thinning crown.. Never worried about my hairline. Finasteride stopped it in its tracks 4 years ago. Goa Finpecia/Fincar from InHouse has always been good for me, in the last year (due to payment issues) I had to switch to AllDayChemist. I've been taking their 1mg Finpecia made in Kumrek (MFD Jul15, EXP JUN 18) for the last year and my hair and hairline is getting destroyed. Their prices are almost too good to be true.

I think it's more safe to buy from your pharmacy with a prescription. Also, maybe you're going through a shed as hair does tend to get a little worse before better while on finasteride sometimes.

How about you just go pay for a dht test from local lab company. This will answer your speculation 100%. Its easy search around for deals. I paid 50 for mine in us

It will contain finasteride. but as I've said many times, use an FDA approved generic if you have to and buy them from your local pharmacy. Finpecia is an unlicensed generic therefore, it is not know to be equivalent to propecia in terms of the amount of active ingredient, purity, inactive ingredients responsible for proper delivery etc. Cipla has an FDA approved version of finasteride which looks like this -

Finasteride is really cheap at Costco and you can get a prescription for it online.

The dermatologists insists on a "revisit" once a year to get a new prescription, even for the generic. Can you direct me to how to go about getting the prescription online? Thanks!

Its common for finasteride to have diminishing effects over time, that could be the case with you too. Most finasteride supporters had hair transplant and/or use it to slow down hairloss, not stop it completely, and for that it works. Only dutasteride users have documented stop of loss over a period of many years, with finasteride its normal to have continued loss that obviously will be higher in periods so make sure your expectations are realistic. That said, use the type you feel is right for you, you dont have to like a type that works well for everyone else.

Hey man I just got a blood test done and my Dht is 658.4 with a ref level of 250-990 pg.ml. I have been taking Cipla Finpecia since I was 17 or 18 and now I am 21 years old. I have seen a gradual loss of hair in my crown. I tried spironolactone 100 a few months back due to frustration from not seeing results but stopped due to fear of sides. For the past three months I have taken dutasteride from the same company (Cipla Duprost 0.5mg.) prior to getting my test done this week.

So I dont think your cipla finpecia is real, chances are you got a bad batch or fake pills and only a blood test will confirm. I don't think my duprost was real too. Either Im some sort of medically unresponsive anomaly or the pills are bunk.
I have now switched brands and am hoping to finally treat my hairloss after 3 years of basically no results.

Has there ever been anyone in the history of the internet to ACTUALLY get their "fake" finasteride tested in a lab to confirm its "fake"?
