I'm Suspecting That Ketoconazole Shampoo Is Causing Hair Loss

As the thread title says. I don't know if it's in my imagination but it feels as if my right corner gets thinner after every time I use ketoconazole shampoo. Has this happened to anyone before? Am I imagining it...or am I actually losing hair there because of male pattern baldness?

1%? I have heard of 2% being a bit too strong for some people but if you really feel that way try going off of it for some time and track it. It could just be lighting or natural progression of male pattern baldness.

Ketoconazole is mildly anti androgenic and is anti inflammatory, so it shouldn't be causing that, but some people do get an irritated scalp from it.

It depends on how often you use it and apparently if you've had a hair transplant or not.

no, male pattern baldness is causing hairloss. nizoral may be adding to the hairloss if you're overusing, excessively drying and stripping the scalp of "natural oils" isnt to be done in excess
