I'm thinking of getting back on dutas

After seeing my thin crown, despite nizoral and finasteride, and seeing my sides thin, as The Gardener pointed out to me, I'm thinking maybe I should get back on dutas.

I was all excited about spending only $7 per month for Fincar 1.25mg, and am a bit bummed that Dutas is $30 per month.

I'm thinking of doing Dutas 5x per week, and Fincar 1.25mg 2x per week. This is extra insurance if I ever get a bad batch. But in case I'm one of the rare people with a genotype who's 5ar2 prefers finasteride to dutasteride, this is a good back up to ensure I don't lose ground.

I have one other consideration: is Dutasteride stronger at binding other enzymes besides 5ar? I know finasteride binds other enzymes, which Docj077 has complained about. Anyone have any biochem information that would explain if I need to worry about this? Given the years of finasteride use, and propecia use, I think finasteride is safe. I just wonder about dutasteride long term.

I've used both, and even at dutasteride 1.5mg, I do not get side effects. Neither does my brother. He used Inhouse dutas for 6 months, EOD, and did not see his hair grow back. But when he got off it, he got a shed. he's now on Fincar for price reasons, and because he gives up easily. I talked him into the fincar.

i've been on Proscar 1.25mg for almost 5 years now. People noticed my hair got darker in the beginning, though I did not see a difference. I've maintained, and I know my crown used to be a little bit thin. But it looks a lot thinner now. Though this is the first time I've looked at it in the mirror the way I do now. So maybe it was always thin like this. It would be nice to fill it in. It is not that bad, but is noticeable.

If it were not for the $7 vs $30 per month, I don't think I'd even be asking you guys for advice. But because of it, I'm looking at all the angles now.

I still wonder if the licorice will fix the sides, and maybe I'm wasting money one the dutas. I wish I knew. It would be so nice to spend just $7 per month on my regimen.

I think I wanna start taking dutasteride like 3 times a week and continue with propecia.

It is hard to rate her body the way she is dressed. Also with her arms pressed against her body, changing the shape of the arm, I can't rate that either. So I can just rate her face. It is between and 8 and a 9 from that pic. You should post it on hotornot.

Just thought I would let you guys know a place to get dutas for less. Alldaychemist.com has dutas for sale for half the price of some of these other sites. I've ordered from them and had no problems. Maybe a little slower delivery but thats all.

Hey Mickey, those prices are awesome! I use finpecia from united and it looks like alldaychemist is much cheaper for that. It said 1.47 usd for 10 pills from allday versus 6 bucks for 10 from united. How much did they charge you for shipping? Thanks.

roki i read you had to stop dutasteride because of sides. What kind of sides did you get?

i got increased belly and chest fat
i had a real hard time building muscle(and its because of the dutasteride for sure)
i got acne on my face and back
this are the things that really botherd me but i also had decreased libido.
i tried different doses from 1 pill every day to 1 pill every week
i had the same sides with every dosage and i also had the same benefits
as for the benefits i would say my hair was doing very good on it and my body hair grew thinner and slower which was also great...

and i tried everything to stop it but nothing worked...
