I posted some photos a few months ago and have been using minoxidil. I think my hair line has improved but still have a way to go. What Norwood rating would you guys say I’m at? I’ve read good things about disaster use but have read some of the side effects and am dubious about taking that. Thanks in advance.

Hair looks good for 32 man. I would say you are early nw2 with some diffuse thinning. How long ago did you first notice hair loss?

I’ve only really noticed in in the past 3 years. But I recently saw a photo of myself at 24, had a Norwood 2 then I’d say. Thanks man, I appreciate it. I’m going to try and improve my diet this year too. Do you guys think diet has a role to play in hair loss? And if so what do you tend to try to eat a lot of?

Personally I think it's to do with what not to eat than what to eat. I notice an increase in shedding when I consume pro-inflammatory foods in larger quantities - sugar, saturated fat. Total fat intake may also be inflammatory if it is too much, I'm not sure about this one. So consumption of stuff that are not sugar and saturated fat would probably help, like fiber and protein and omega-3 fats. Exercise also seems like an important component - cardio in particular, is a tool to keep one's weight down and thereby reduce inflammatory markers.

Norwood 2-2.5 at most.

Looks good, but your eye circles do look dark imo. Maybe compare it with a pre minoxidil pic to see if it changed anything. Everything looks good though!!
