Can't believe none of you have questioned the authenticity of this "incel attack". Let me just say it's FAKE. And here's why:

* The facebook profile has zero friends
* The facebook post leads you to "Troll Army"
* The post hasn't been confirmed real by facebook, it's just a spokesman who said he believed it to be real. Which fit the medias left wing anti white male agenda. Denouncing groups like 4chan, and incels who are according to them are "alt right" groups, who consists of members who are evil white male. (LOL)
* The van attacker was Armenian, the attack happened in a muslim part of Toronto, the attack took place on the eve of the Armenian Genocide which was perpetrated by Muslims.
* Would an "incel" attack happen to random citizens on the sidewalk?
* The facebook post looks like someone who looked at the incel community for an hour wrote it. There has never been referred to an "incel rebellion" before, on 4chan the joke is "beta uprising" and on incel communities it's "going ER". The incel community doesn't hate on "Chads and Stacys". The hypergamous roasties are being targeted. Not the top percentage of males and females. And with the Elliot Rodger comment at the end of the post it just seems like someone is looking to tick boxes in order to frame the incels and 4chan, it does not look like an authentic message.

well i am about 50/50 on the issue.
did they find anything else out about Minassian? e.g. other posts or accounts confirmed to be him, that confirm he was an incel?
i must admit when i looked at his pictures it did seem strange he'd be a 4chan poster talking about incels, betas etc.
he looks like a guy in his 40's who is married with kids and who works in an office doing taxes or as a stock broker. - but i guess that could make him become an incel if he is infact in his mid 20's and he looks like a boring middle aged office worker?

@Patrick_Bateman , I just assumed his awkwardness bled into his posting style. Even his sentence structure is awkward. From what classmates said of him this is a guy who could barely interact with others in any basic way. It would be reasonable to expect him to write awkwardly as well and not fully "get" even the memes he enjoys. This guy sounds very socially/emotionally crippled. Autism is fundamentally a communication disorder.

He also gave his service number in the post which would only be accessible to military personel.

From what I've read of his life and his family it sounds far more likely that he is just another incel that snapped and thought this would be a way to go out in a blaze of glory.

It seems far more likely than the idea that: (1) He was somehow as a total aspie who grew up in Toronto meowing at people in hallways and literally running away from any girl who tried to talk to him indoctrinated into ISIS, and (2) The Canadian military made a fake Facebook post on his behalf to hide that he was an ISIS operative.

If the conspiracy theory is more complex and obtuse than the obvious answer, well, you know Occam's Razor. There are already loads of anecdotes from his prior classmates that verify this guy was absolutely as incel as they come with no hope for redemption.

None needed. He made a single Facebook post before the attack, referencing 4chan (was probably an /r9k/ poster), his military ID, Chad & Stacy, & ER:

It accomplished everything he was likely hoping it would. Again this is one of the problems with terrorism. It works too well for people to stop using it.

And yet the only person I've seen since then offering anything resembling solutions is Dan Savage, who I always previously thought was unsympathetic to the plight of heterosexual men:

I don’t think it’s well planned out, a grand plan plotted by some global group by stealth, but read some of these crazy anti incel articles and it’s pretty clear that the media is more than happy to engage in anti male hate speech and make fun of sexually inept men in a way that is hugely hypocritical. Massive double standards and a clear intent to bring down western norms by outright rejecting equality for the sake of female supremacy. Same with race, class etc. it’s never enough for them to achieve equality, they want to overthrow and oppress who they deem the oppresser.
