increase labido on finasteride?

a week and a half on finasteride.. First week no sex drive really and today and yesterday increase in sexual desire (like a lot a lot ) but not getting super hard. is this not good or just hormones getting adjusted?

It's known to happen, some people's libido spikes up or down. Just keep an eye out for it over the coming weeks...

Hellousers advice is solid man... keep an eye on it. If you are a few months in on treatment, and have a drastic reduction or increase in libido CONSTANTLY, then it's time to reconsider. Certain people have a physiology that "listens" to finasteride. It reduces DHT production, and as a result they have some minor sexual sides, that are corrected by the body, this reduction remains constant and they are able to hold onto their hair. Other people have the opposite response. Their body creates feed back, in which testosterone is notably increased, possibly ARs are increased in quantity and androgens become more active in the scalp tissue. Because of this, they are horny all the time and lose tons of hair, lol. I am the latter. I hope you are not. probability is on your side with this one, just relax and give it some time.
