Do you guys think scalp inflammation in the main reason behind hairloss and DHT is just a BS? I have started to think about it more since some people on forum have noticed less shedding and regrowth when they can find a solution to reduce inflammation. What if all finasteride, rogaine and dustesteride is doing in decreasing inflammation? just saying.

I read that somewhere as well - apparently dht is subsequently built up or sent to the scalp by the body due to an inflamed scalp -

so yeah by reducing dht - regrowth,

however I havent seen many threads about this or many articles

I had no scalp inflammation and lost ground fast on finasteride, so i dont think it is a necessary condition but maybe inflammation will make things worse for people.

from what I remember reading - il never find the article now but it stated that it could be internal and in hair loss terms not noticable however your body reacts and pumps more dht up there...

apparently has some link with tension in the scalp which kind of links to the horseshoe pattern

DHT & testosterone bind to androgen receptors in the hair, which causes inflammation, which kills hair follicles.

There's no conspiracy and that's basically it.
