I have for some years now had on and off inflammation of the scalp, on different parts but usually in the front and sides, right now I have inflammation in the front of my scalp. I just started nizoral and fincar, should I wait to see if my inflammation goes down with these treatments or should I go to see a doctor to get presription pills?

Thanks

You could try something like Inflamil.

Various "natural" supplements can help...Neptune krill oil and curcumin..etc.

or you could try to find the source of the inflammation rather than asking for pills to mask it. i just recently discovered my skin problems have been caused by a wheat/gluten intolerance i'd never realized. you consume such a variety of foods in the normal western diet that most food allergies go unnoticed unless you're bleeding out your rectum. try an elimination diet for wheat/gluten or dairy, and i'd bet you'd be surprised.
