I wish. My maternal uncles both have the thickest heads of jet black Italian hair on earth.

Yes, I have the same exact pattern as my maternal uncle. Same hair type, color, hair loss pattern- everything. The good thing about that is that he has hair still, and he's 45.

My maternal uncles have the lowest hairlines and thickest hair I've ever seen. They have more hair then I did when I was 12. How I wish I had hair like them.

just because of the amount of variables that come into play.

your mothers brother could have inherited male pattern baldness-genes or not and
your mother could have inherited male pattern baldness-genes or not

also
your father could have inherited male pattern baldness-genes or not

you are a mix of all these, basically meaning that you're a mix of genes from two sources that could have carried male pattern baldness-genes (remebering that its a group of genes not just one).

Seems logical to me that it will be a 50/50 final result.

Maternal side all have great heads of hair. All of them.

Paternal side... poster children for the Norwood movement.

my maternal grandfather was basically bald with 23 (in that age i was still norwood 1)

my father started diffuse thinning with 35 with the front hairline still being norwood 1.5

dont know my paternal grandfather

i figured out i come after maternal uncle who lost ground at his frontal hairline in his end 20...hard to figure out since the bastard always runned elaborated cover up games as far as i remembee
