Forgive my ignorance here, but I seen a scare video on YouTube (never watched it, just seem the summary) talking about the nasty side effects of finasteride and minoxidil and how they kill people and make people turn into penisless homosexuals (OK, exaggeration there)...

However, it mentioned some kind if injection into the scalp?

What is this? Does such a thing actually exist?

Dude, i was watching BBC 2 months ago, can't remember the show anymore but it was a show about embarrassments. Anyways, it was about this black guy who was embarrassed about some weird bald(not entirely) patches on the crown and the back of his head and therefore he wore a lot of headgear to disguise it. Eventually, a doctor helped him out by injecting steroids into his head and as a result the patches were gone and he has regrown most of it. Maybe injecting steroids in your head can cause a regrowth? Someone needs to investigate this matter.

Scalp injections are used as treatment though not very commonly as a mainstream treatment, and less so in the United States (more common in europe). Minoxidil has been injected as a therapy, bimatoprost, peptides, platlet rich plasma, dutasteride, and proteins (histogen) have all been injected into scalps.

Finasteride does not kill people, neither does minoxidil.
