Also, you are kind of lucky to have friends who are also balding, because they know your pain. In my social circle every one has beautiful NW1 thick hair :/
I have a good friend thats heavily diffusing on top like I was.
Every time I meet him, I ask him when is he going to Turkey. He's ignoring me every time and I just tell him "Bro, look at me. Do you like having 0 female attention in your life? GTFO TO TURKEY" But he still ignores me. Well, when the Norwood Reaper will finish his job, I'll have to mentally support my homie.
The rest of my friends have decent/perfect hairlines and no women problems.

He will learn his lesson. I did not even have people telling me to go to Turkey/get on finasteride/shave it, the thing I was told is only that I look like subhuman and it's over for me lmao

Imagine he lacked female attention his whole life because he was fat. Now, after losing 40 kilos he is full of female attention for about 3 years (dude has a GOd damn pretty face). Imagine what happens if he doesn't take action regarding his hair loss.

Yeah if you just have thinning hair and try to act like it looks good then its your fault lmao

Yeah, makes sense. Before this hair loss stuff started I rarely thought of it (occasionally the idea of going bald would scare me but not much more), so I never really noticed someone with some recession or a bit of thinning unless it was pointed out. Nowadays someone's hairline/density is literally the first thing I notice in someone.
Lmao. The familiar eyes darting up and zoning in trying to calculate the norwood

I kinda did that to a guy I was doing some work for who was thinning and receding a bit (which was 1.5 years ago, now he's a NW5-6), and then when he showed up again later that day to discuss some more of the work he was wearing a baseball cap inside his garage in the winter... I felt kinda bad after that.

He is in denial, it will hit him like a brick later in life lol

I'm after 3 transplants, and I can confirm that life before and after are very different

Did you ever think that maybe he was turned down for hair transplants because he is not a good candidate? Maybe he's diffusing to a NW7. Have some empathy. Everybody would go for a hair transplant if they could, unless they actually liked the bald look.

How is the growth now? You at 8 months now? You should have even better results.
Yeah bro I'm 9 months post OP and my hairline definitely got thicker lately

I've been applying minoxidil and NANO shampoo for 2 months as well and I think that helped me a bit with making the areas behind the transplant look more full

I will show you some pics of the progress later today

I wonder how many grafts I have left tbh gonna find out on my 12 month check

My advice on the remaining grafts is maintenance. You may need a touch up down the road. Managing donor hair is tricky and it is best to be conservative. If you are happy now (considering your dating life I'd say so) why take a risk?

I suppose you could also use fibers for the top of your head. That might be the future of hair transplants. Get good hairline and poor coverage everywhere else but you can supplement that area with fibers
I don't like fibers

Plus my girl touches my hair sometimes and I'll just seem pathetic having to explain that I'm conscious about my hair loss and it would make the problem bigger than it is

LOL, life begins for you again after 3 transplants. Nice to hear a success story of a guy who now has higher self esteem and a new hot girlfriend.

But note that it occurred after hair restoration, not after 'hair loss acceptance' or anything like that. I really think that hair restoration is much more successful than hair loss acceptance for improving general happiness.

At least we have options. I think if everyone could be promised a natural looking great result at a fair price, more people would be doing hair transplantation. In certain circumstance, you don't need hair to get the girl if you have something more valuable. If you have royalty, that is all you need.

I agree. I did accept it to a certain degree because my head still has some bald patches here and there

But full acceptance of being NW6 bald? I don't know if that would have happened
