Not sure if this is the right place to post but just want to ask simple question here. I started using iron flat even though I have male pattern baldness Norwood 1 (thin hair on top), could iron flat accelerate the male pattern baldness since I think it can cause hair loss as well? Even I only try to apply the iron flat on my hair tip carefully without touching scalp, I want to make sure if its okay to cotinue or I should stop. Hair looks messy even washing it. I'd appreciate answers, thank you

You should be fine as long as you're not touching the scalp.

I flat ironed my hair the other day for the first time in years and didn't see any hairs sticking to the iron, even when I "Tugged" on the iron to straighten my tips.
