I've heard about a few potential treatments (e.g. sandalore, WAY-31660, etc.), but is 2019 likely to bring any hope, or am I simply holding my breath for nothing?
I've been lurking this forum for a few years before actually registering and also stumbled on some topics from way back and it's the same story over and over: lots of new potential treatments on the horizon but never anything concrete.
Doesn't mean we can't keep our hopes up but yeah, don't count on it happening next year. Look for the best way to deal with your current situation and focus on that.
Maybe stop thinking about it as an illness that needs curing. If men who go bald hadn't manage to procreate/breed then evolution would have dispensed with the balding a long time ago. We're fighting against a stupidly complex, biochemical entity (the human body).
