Recently I went on holiday to my uncles home in Spain (not real family so no genetic link) I hadn't seen him for a good 7 years and didn't bother to have a look at his hairline back then however based off of pics he was a thin nw2.5. For some reason we were talking about hair and my uncle brought up that he was the only one in his family of 3 brothers and his dad to still have hair. He said that he started using biotin shampoo 8 years ago and it stopped his hair loss and thickened it up a bit. He's still around a nw2.5 but it does seem much thicker and he swears he hadn't had a transplant. I didn't think biotin was a powerful or long term treatment in terms of stopping the recision but in his case it seemed to work
Also I don't know much about biotin but I think he used it every day rather than a few times a week which I believe is what's recommended (I could be wrong)
