Is DHT correlated with masculine body features?

I was looking at the wikipedia article for DHT, and considered this.

"DHT is produced by males in vivo and is responsible for the formation of male sex-specific characteristics. DHT is an important contributor to other characteristics generally attributed to males, including facial and body hair growth, and deepening of the voice. DHT may also play a crucial role in both sex drive and the growth of muscle tissue."

Consider myself. I've got a moderately high voice. I don't grow facial hair. My body hair is close to nonexistent - I only get it where women do - armpits, pubes, legs. (My last GF had more body hair than I do..) I've hit the gym with personal trainers and have not been able to bulk myself up past 155 pounds (I'm 6'3), despite lifting away for several years.

I've also been lucky enough to only just get my NW2 at about 26, and what I've lost is coming back pretty quickly with rogaine.

I'm the least masculine man I know of, easily, but maybe other people here can provide some insight or knowledge.. is a man's man (thick muscles, body hair, square jaw, deep voice) more likely to have more DHT, and thus more likely to go bald?

Body type and genetics are unfortunate for some. With your proportions and history you are def a ectomorph. That being said you can eat 3 cheeseburgers and not gain any muscle or fat. The reason you are not gaining is because of your diet I can garandamntee it. If you want to gain muscle mass do heavy weights and low reps. You really have to feel it burn HARD but don't over train. For example if you can lift 135 lbs in bench press 10 times before you have to get someone to help you, try bench pressing 155 lbs 6-8 times WITH A SPOTTER. Do this with every exercise you do and make sure you give your muscles at least 1 day rest but no more than 3 days rest. Track the amount you lift and increase as a weight becomes too easy at 6-8 reps. Always warm up! Now that you have the lifting covered you will want to change your diet. A mass gainer will want close to a 4k calorie diet. Ya it sounds like a lot and you may gain some fat but you will gain a lot more muscle if you lift consistently. It should consist of a majority carbs, followed closely by protein followed by as low of a fat amount as possible. Gaining is hard for your body type but if you do this, you will gain strength muscle size and total overall lean muscle mass. As for your voice facial features and body hair: that is most likely due to your genetics. Look at your parents and relatives. Do you share a similar voice, facial features, body hair? If not it could be due to an abnormal amount of hormone but most likely isnt a problem unless your growing tits or your dick doesnt get hard. Also if your male relatives have los tmore hair than you it may be a good idea to check out finasteride/propecia because rogaine will not stop you from balding over time.
