is dutasteride guranteed to work better than finasteride?

If finasteride isn't working for you as wel as you'd hoped, will switching to dutasteride guarantee better results?

Will you go through a shedding phase and lose all the hairs you grew on finasteride while switching to dutasteride?

If finasteride works at all for you stay on it...getting greedy can be a mistake. I had accelerated loss on dutasteride then finasteride but neither appear to work for me. Stay on the finasteride

Personally I'm pretty sure finasteride worked better for me than dutasteride.

I went back on finasteride after a couple of years of dutasteride and while dutasteride stopped any loss, I only seem to really get growth with finasteride, at least that's how it seems with a couple of years on both.

Geminix I'd consider going for a shorter, trendier haircut rather then all that length in the back - but it's up to you my man!

Thanks for the tip, though my hair is now much longer than it was in the most recent photo on my old diary page.

That said, I don't really do "guys" styles these days

I should probably point out that I'm a transsexual, just to avoid more of the same confusion from when I posted here in the past hehe

I really should do some new photos and update that old site; I'm kinda working on a whole new site (a proper one with a blog and stuff) but you know what it's like, never enough hours in the day.

I did just have some nice photos taken for my new work passcard, driving license and passport etc. Might post them for people interested in my hair regrowth.
