I quit because I got gyno from Finasteride, so it didn't matter anyway because I couldn't keep taking it.

maybe if daro doesnt work out you could try a bunch of less severe experimental stuff, like zinc topicals/hydrocortisone cream/nizoral cream/lazer helmets/ etc etc to try and at least slow your loss down as best as you can buy hitting many angles

then depending on how effective all those things are, get conservative temporary smp to fill in your thinning areas and keep it buzzed.

i mock smp in general but when you have hair everywhere still it can look good. but only if there is hair there

maybe this could buy you a few more years yet before you truly give up

i know all that experimental stuff is very hit and miss and not widely used, but its surely worth a go if all these other hardcore things havent worked out and they seem very safe and cheap to use

@whatevr ; how is the gyno now that you have quitted fina ? still have puffy nipples ?
normally the DHT might be back to antagonize the receptor , and the oestradiol level at bay . if there were no fibrosis , there is a chance

Much better, but sadly some of it stayed. Does not bother me too much, I could always take some ralox to get it off completely but I dunno if I want to mess with that drug.

Some say estrogen is bad for hair and that lowering estrogen will restore hair. Do they have pictures?

I say estrogen is amazing for hair and the more you have it the more you will have hair. I have pictures.

Believe who you want, but remember, one side is full of hot air and theories out of their ***, the other side has the results speaking for them.

I agree. I'm thinking about adding it topically.

It's funny, in the U.S., it's easy to get topical Progesterone. It's like the opposite of Europe.

It's very hard to get topical estrogen in the U.S.. In Europe, it's been used for quite some time.

Sigh. In the 2 years that I've been using all these treatments I observed my hair every single day. I know exactly what worked, and what did not. And now you want me to argue with you trying to prove to you what is very clearly visible on pictures. You realize I have absolutely nothing to gain by getting you (or anyone else) to believe me. Because I put this sh*t out there to document it, and I posted the pictures, which is more than what most people who claim results do, and if you don't believe what you see, that is your problem. If you think Propecia is so hot sh*t and that these results are from that, then keep believing that and take your Propecia. It means f*** all to me.

Quite a bit worse than that picture. Lost density all over, and receded further. None of the old regimens work for me anymore, because in the process of treating my hypothyroidism I managed to increase my T & DHT closer to normal levels, which basically means that the healthier I am the faster I will go bald and the more aggressive regimen I need. I think the only anti-androgen that could save me at this point is Darolutamide. RU worked for me during the summer of 2017 for a while, but it no longer does. I might as well be applying sugar water at this point, other than the fact that most of the RU ends up in my brain and gives me nasty brain fog. I could probably regain some by using estrogen, but the side effects of that are just not good long-term. I have 150 mg of darolutamide on the way which I will stretch to 50 days at around 3 mg / day which should be enough to see if I can tolerate it and if it will work, but if it doesn't, I'm just about screwed I guess.

Have you considered a hair transplant? I’m thinking of going to Turkey for my 2nd one.

I think estrogen is good for hair. Search the forums its been debated before. I think bryan also said long ago estrogen is good if anything for hair growth. Whether estrogen is good for being a male is another story

You don't have any estrogen use in your thread though?

I think you succeed because of the combination of Alpicort-F and Finasterid.
