You should leave it longer than 10 minutes before applying Folligen. Personally I would wait an hour. If folligen seems to strong for your scalp, try Tricomin.
Folligen can cause irritation when you first start it. If you read the Pickart website, he warns that this is a common side effect when starting any copper peptide product.
This happens because the Cu Peps are penetrating the skin barrier. The more your skin becomes accustomed to the influx of copper peps, the irritation goes away.
Pickart suggests that if the irritation bothers you, you can dilute the folligen solution with water to help your skin "ramp up" to the copper peps a bit more slowly.
Tricomin is a bit less irritative as it contains menthol, which is a mild topical anesthetic.

I may be mistaken (first time for everything but I'm pretty sure the folligen folks recommend keeping folligen 3 hours away from any other topicals.
As far as its burning - it does contain some alcohol - so if your scalp is tender or sore or irritated or sunburnt - yea it could probably burn. I've heard of some guys who cut their folligen w/ distilled water because its just to strong for their particular scalps.
I used Folligen in the the past and it burnt like hell...I never went away...
It's not the alcohol (Minoxidil solution has much more alcohol in it) it's not the PPG....it's the ultra high concentration and the type of the copper peptides.....I couldn't bear it and it actually caused my wounds and unbearable itching. I stopped using it and now I am on Tricomin which is very very pleasant and gentle.
