Is hair density % a universal concept or just applicable to a factory's own stock?

What I mean is Lavivid has 90% which is considered medium-light by them, and 130% is considered medium by them. I check out HairbyMHE and their stock pieces are "Medium to Medium Light Density 60-65%" -- is their 60-65% equal to Lavivid's 90% cause they are both considered medium-light? or is it actually roughly 30% less hair?

I'm looking at SuperHairPieces website too and they have titles claimed like

"110% Front, Rest 100% Light to medium density" - seems to follow roughly the same titles as Lavivid's but I want to make sure the % correlate so I don't mess up purchasing a too dense unit if I go that route.

Yeah, each supplier has their own %. What you can do is see if they have images of their hair density.

No, frustratingly there's no universal definition or scale for hair density in the hair system industry.
