Is It Me Or The Cut?

This is a strange question and i'm going to try my best to word it, because of the way my hair is cut when it is all forward you cannot see any scalp but when i push it all backwards i have to arrange it so you cannot see scalp through it.
FYI my hair is shorter at the back and longer at the front.

Once my derm told me everyone's hair had a "preferred side". Meaning that if you comb it to one side the results will be better than if you do to the other because of the particular inclination of the little "swirls" that hair grows in.
I guess this is also applicable to your case, front to back.

thanks for the reply man, I was thinking the lack of pics wouldn't help, but im currently on a long bus journey and i think taking pictures of the back of my head might alarm other travellers
