Is it okay to use S5 cream if you have Telogen Effluvium only?

Hi.

I am 27... started thinning at 26. major thinning. It only occurred after a medication. It has not reversed. I have been under extreme stress, I am going to a doctor to get referred to an endocrinologist as well as trying to get blood/ thyroid tests and the like.

I am not sure if i have male pattern baldness. If I do... it is strange, because it is thinning all over, there are widened parts. It is diffuse...
Has not really worsened in 6 months... but I lost a ton of hair in only like a few weeks. It is way thinner overall. I have no recession, no real visibile balding... except when wet. Hair dressers, most ppl think I have no hair loss... but my pictures and my own know how says otherwise.

Anyways I tried minoxidil briefly... won't try finasteride. Maybe I have some degree of male pattern baldness and some hormonal imbalance brought on by drugs/ Telogen Effluvium.

If doctors can verify it isn't male pattern baldness (I'm not saying for sure either way)., is it okay to try S5 cream?

If it works... maybe it would help regrowth occur quicker.

If I confirm it is mainly Telogen Effluvium, should I just not treat it at all?

Thanks.
