Is It Possible For Finasteride To Actually Cause Hair Thinning?

I was seeing signs of male pattern baldness, started taking both Finasteride and Oral Minoxidil and within months starting diffuse hair thinning.

Is it possible these drugs are actually causing the thinning? It's been 2 yrs and I'm worried to stop taking them as I don't have any idea how much they have helped me and I hear all the help will disappear once you start taking them.

But if they are causing the bad thinning, obviously I'd rather stop taking them all together.

With both drugs you will get initial shedding . My shedding on finasteride went on for about 3 months .

no shedding at all, just hair thinning. Nothing is even coming out just my hair is thinning more and more daily.
