Hi, This is my first post. I researched a bit here but couldn't find any exact thread to my query so posting a new one.
I have officially been diagnosed with Androgenetic Alopecia. I have lost a bit of hair on my left and right temple. I have hair thinning everywhere on my head and I want to do something about it before it worsens.
I recently visited a dermatologist who prescribed me Hairbless tablets which contains Biotin, Vitamins, Minerals, Amino acids and Natural extracts. and Minokem-N 5% Lotion which contains Tretinoin Topical(0.010% w/v),Azelaic Acid Topical(1.5% w/v),Minoxidil Topical(5% w/v)
Anyway, I was wondering to add Finasteride tablets to my existing set of medication to Block DHT.
1: Is it safe to do that and should I go with it? I am thinking of going with 1mg of dose. And yes, if any side effects occur, I will immediately rush to doctor before continuing this further.
2: Though I haven't lost any hair on my crown yet but I do wish to regain some hair on my frontal area. (I have M shape, not extreme but slight). Does regular medication for 6-7 will see any regrowth ?
3: Any other tips/advises do you have for me, a beginner ?
