Is it safe to stop minoxidil after 4 months?

I've been using it for 4 months now but find it hard to stick to the regimen everyday. I want to stop it for now. Will anything bad happen to my hair if I stop now?

You'll probably shed a lot, end up temporarily below baseline, then revert to whatever state you would be had you never used minoxidil.

Don't stop, it's just like finasteride, you will lose a lot of hair and you will lose even more than you naturally would have if never used minx.

once you start minx or finasteride you can never stop or else you'll get rekt, it's a life time treatment.

I'm using Lipogaine 5% liquid. If I can use it once a day I'll continue using it.

You can use it once a day and it will still be effective. But use at least double the normal amount, and make sure it really ends up on your scalp and not your hair. I use minoxidil liquid once a day, around 5 ml, and its effective. Like you I don't want to deal with it twice a day and I never have.

Most studies show a temporary to below baseline before returning to normal. You will lose a lot of hair, but the hair that didn't need minoxidil to grow will probably come back fine.

that's not what I saw from many videos and pictures of people who shown their hair before minx and again after they stopped using it, it looked way worse

They would have lost hair in the time span of not taking minoxidil, that's why it looks worse than baseline.
