So you're saying you'd take finasteride and risk getting sides even if you werent balding?

If I thought there was even a slight chance I was balding but not 100% sure I would get on it. Definitely worth it. It got rid of my long term back acne too.

I'm about 10 months I think at 0.25mg.

dunno

10months yeah... and you feel no difference right? i probably didnt feel any different myself after 10months.

I started when i was 20, been taking it everyday since then. Im 26 now.

Looking back in retrospect, my libido is nowhere near what it was back then, rarely morning wood either. It's not like it changed over night or anything, it's been a very gradual change. If you asked me 2-3 years ago i would probably say everything has stayed the same even though it wasnt. Could be something else then finasteride, but it's doubtful. I have a healthier lifestyle now compared to back then.

Still worth it though, going bald is death and i dont plan on quitting anytime soon.

But advicing people who may or may not going bald to take finasteride is not the way to go imo, he should get it confirmed by a derm unless he's absolutely certain himself. 2-5% side effects is very questionable, both of you will understand what i mean later on.

Hopefully a legitimate alternative is out within 5 years.
