Is It Time To Stop Taking Finasteride?

I started taking 1.25mg of Finasteride daily three days ago and I've been experiencing sexual sides. I've noticed that I haven't had morning wood since I've started. Not only that, but when I attempted to masturbate today my erection become softer in the ten seconds I walked from my bed to lock my door. I got it harder again, but when I approached climax it wasn't satisfying and I failed to c*m.

Should I introduce daily zinc tablets? Do sides subside after the first week? Should I lower dosage or quit now before I do any damage?

Sides might take several weeks to subside. It depends on your own predisposition.
For me, but I guess I am much older than you, it took three months to go back to "normal".

Do you think it's best to stick to 1.25mg daily for the time being? As a point of interest, I had sides while on accutane and my erection quality/libido dropped significantly.

How about lowering the dosage you take daily, like 0.25 mg for example, it seems to help in some cases. See if that'll work for you instead of outright quitting, that's just my suggestion however.

-Microdose
-Wait it out
-Get some vitamins that promote testosterone and help keep estrogen in check

Zinc is good for testosterone. Aspirin apparently helps lower estrogen as well. I take 650-1300mg every other day and take ZMA at bedtime.

I've always wondered about microdosing. Is there any regular members that have done that for a sustained period of time? I would happily do it, I'm looking to maintain for the most part and I'm content with staying NW2.

Using other crap to fight sides of some other drug is just dumb. Play with the dosage and if it keeps happening I would just stop or see your doctor and ask their opinion. If you want to put up with those sides maybe its an option if at lower doses the sides are less severe.
No easy answers just a decision to make
