Is My Hairline Maturing Or Definitely Receding?

Noticed a part of my hairline has thinned quite a bit lately. Also been under an immense amount of stress in the last few months. And then when I noticed my hairline was thinning it shot my stress up even higher. It’s started thinning on the right side more so than the left. Anybody know if it’s just because of stress or if it’s a problem that’s going to persist in the future?

i'm no expert but i'd lean more towards receding because it does seem quite prominent. That said i would definitely say don't stress. It could stop right there and never get worse and even if it does, you still have a lot of thick hair on most of your head. Just keep an eye on it and if it will make you feel better visit a dermatologist and get some tests done. Worst case scenario they tell you you're receding and you can get on the right treatment to stop it in it's tracks. And with how thick your hair is, you would be a prime candidate for a hair transplant if it ever came to that.

last thing is, your particular hairline is extremely easy to work with hairstyle wise. Jack Black has a very similar hairline and with a center part hairstyle you would never even know. But seriously DONT STRESS. Just go see a professional if you notice it's worse in a month or so, but don't check every day or you'll go insane. Just take some photos in a neutral position you can replicate in a months time or more.

stress/lack of micronutrients are very irrelevant imo. people get stressed all the time and you don't see them jumping from norwood 0 or 1s to 3s because of it. in your case it could be mature or it could be early stage of balding. post a picture with your forehead wrinkles pushed up all the way.
