Is My Hairline Receding Or Is It A Mature Hairline?

Hello,

I'm 20 years old and I have noticed a change in my hairline over the few months. I understand that something called a "mature hairline" is normal but I'm finding it hard to tell the difference as to whether I have male pattern baldness or if it is just a mature hairline.

Thanks.

That is more than a mature hairline. NW3 receding further. Im sorry to say it, but its male pattern baldness my friend. Get on finasteride if thats an option for you.

Oh no :(. My grandfather had a full head of hair in his old age. I'm only 20 too, this sucks.

How do I know what drug is right for me? What are my full options?

balding.

your option is to take finasteride and maintain what you got or go bald.

it's that simple.

Should I book an appointment with a GP to discuss this further? Is it possible to regrow the hair by the temples?

Could these drugs be dangerous also? Also is finasteride taken daily?

All drugs have potential to be dangerous. Yes, you have to take it daily. Alone, Finasteride will not regrow your temples, in most cases this drug will just maintain. If you want regrowth, you have to add something called Minoxidil.
