Ive always had long hair and even longer before. I personally dont think its the length but rather the way I put it ? I mostly pull my left sides hair mostly to the right so it doesnt fall on my face. Is it possible that this causes hair traction over a long period ? I also used to tightly attach my hair.I think there is nothing to worry about. You use your hair long and that might be causing the receding line, try to be more gentle to your hair
Also about the smaller hair. How smaller do they need to be ? I mean for example, half my hair length ? Or as small as "baby" hair ?I would not worry. The picture are not close enough to see but you have to look for smaller hair - hair that is not able to grow as long as the rest. It usually starts on one side too.
Looking good man, don't worry, your hair is good. And if you feel your hairline gets worse and you see that its worse, give the big 3 a shot. You're still in norwood 1 territory. And about that whole baby hair thing. When the hairline recedededs the helathy hair will become very thin whispy hair that only grows up to an inch or so. And you are not losing your hair from pulling it back. Traction alopecia looks alot different from that. And if you don't know what the big 3 is, its finasteride, minoxidil and nizoral shampoo. But your hair is very good man. And barely receeded at all. So dont worry! : )
