Is Proscar(1/4) safe for 18 year old?

Hi, i have order Proscar and intend to take 1/4th of it everyday. My question is that is it safe for usage since i am only 18 years old and not with a totally matured body... would it do any harm to me??

I am 19 and a Dr. prescribed Propecia 1 mg for me, I would talk to a Dr., but he prescribed it to me without any tests or questions.

Talk to a doctor, but no one can tell you if it is 100% safe to take propecia at such a young age!

I already got the prescription for finastride.. the doctor didnt ask me many things, and said that he can only prescribe me either finasteride or minoxidil, so i opted for finasteride... but still im asking if finasteride is safe for ppl of my age... anyone who tried it while in a similar age group??

Im 23, not sure if you consider me in the same age group (maybe the standard 18-24)

I'm 18 and been on fincar for about 1 month. Be careful the first week or so. Your "libido" will be insane. Just hope you have a girlfriend that feels the same I guess. It has dropped since then, and stabilized. Other than that, no real sides. I've had some oily skin and a few zits, but it's no big deal.

I'm 19, been taking Propecia for 5.5 months, and I can say it's not been harmful to me. Had no libido for about 1 or 2 days, can't even say it was the finasteride, but it's either been extremely high, or just normal. No other effects to note, besides watery jizz. Seems safe for me!

hey im 19 and started when i was 18 and have been on it for about 8 months now and it seems pretty safe to me, i dont even really think about it anymore. I wouldnt worry about it. good luck

Hmm.. guys thanks for your replies.. im still waiting for my delivery of proscar that i got over the internet... coz me about 120$ CAD including shipping..and is gonna last for 4 - 5 months( depends if i am able to cut the pill into 5!!). btw anyone got his stuff from propecia-proscar.com? r those guys reliable?

ps. to all the 18 - 19 finestride guys... did u get the prescriptions from doctors or from the internet... plus do u feel u r fully physically developed or still look like a kid??

Question 1: I got my prescription from the internet.

Question 2: I'm fully developed. People thought I was a college student when I was 14 years old.

Daymn guys you all are asking if your too young at 18... this worries me being sixteen on midoxil...What are some causes of hair lose besides male pattern balding? im thinking sixteen might just be too young..

I started Minoxidil when I was 16 and used it until I was 19 (3 years to find out that it was useless for me).. the only bad side effects I had from Minoxidil was a complete stop in growth of my sex organs. According to 28 studys this is what will happen if you use minoxidil before you are 18.. Of course I am kidding, you will be fine. I don't see why age is so important, none of these drugs have been proven to stunt growth, brain development, etc.

I'm 19, i didn't get a prescription from my doctor so i ordered it off the net.
I've been taking finasteride for 2 months now, 1mg a day sometimes 1.25mg because i sometimes f*** up cutting up the tablets into fifths. I hopefully am not jinxing it by saying that I've experienced next to no side effects, except watery semen and the ability to speak french
