Is there anything I can add to my routine?

New to boards, have been reading for a while. I'm 41 years old, NW3 hair loss, with entire front to crown thinning, but no real bald spots. For example I have enough hair that its hard to use S5 cream on my entire head except the bare temple areas and hairline. But when its wet, you can easily see my scalp thru the hair.

My current routine includes:
- 1.0mm scalp roller 2x/day
- 2.5mg finastride oral 1x/day
- Nioxin Intensive Therapy Recharging Complex oral 1x/day
- 300mg oral spironolactone 1x/day
- Perfect Image 15% minoxidil/5% alzeic acid/.0025% retinol 2x/day
- Tricommin 1x/day
- Topical mixture of 2ml of 5% generic minoxidil/with 50mg spironolactone, 2.5mg finastride, 62.5mg flutamine, 4 drops of Nioxin folical booster 2x/day.
- 2% nizoral shampoo 1x/day
- Aminexil shampoo 1x/day
- Tea Tree conditioner.
- X5 Hair Laser 1x/day 30 minutes

I have only been doing this routine for 30 days and I am seeing a bunch of little blondish white baby hairs in the bare temple areas. Its actually enough to use Toppik hair fibers on it and make the receding temple almost unnoticeable.

Is there any thing else that would help out that I missed?

thanks

thats a pretty full on regime, with some things doubled up.

First i think once u get good results, u should reduce some of it, because it will be hard to keep up yr after yr.

a few things:, form my understanding minoxidil over 5% isnt any more beneficial, but has more side effects. Same with finasteride, i think 2.5 mg will only be marginally better than 1mg.

however i can understand to assure results, perhaps ur doing the right thing, just might give u higher side effects.

also, i dont quite understand the reason for finasteride, min and spironolactone, all oral + topical. I thought topical only works via systemic absorption anyway? if it also works on hair follicles topically, then total systemic dose, (oral + topical) will still be higher, so ur overdosing imo.

again, ur obviously puttin results ahead of side effects, which is ur perogative.

that small laser thing is a waste of time. theres a certain amount of joules / cm2 that u need for a chance at it increasing cellular atp, and the 9 x 650nm, 5 mw diodes in that thing doesnt come close. U really need 100+ diodes spread over entire male pattern baldness region. id suggest a bigger more expensive device, or nothing at all. There are some helmets u can buy for 500 - 1000$ with 100 diodes that would be better imo.

im surprised given ur regime, that u r totally underdosing on the LLLT.

just my opinions, ur regime is still pretty good. perhaps overdoing somethings, but i guess ur determined for results. U still have to consider wat will happen down the line though.

a bra?

Seriously dude, unless you've given up on mini rex, drop the spironolactone, there's no need for it (unless it's a temp thing for your body building, and you know how to handle the sides)

Its a hard routine to maintain. I work from home 20 days a month and travel 10 days a month , which makes it easier.

oral spironolactone is just temporary to drop water weight for summer.

I just use the 5% minoxidil just for a mixing agent for the crushed up finastride/spironolactone/fluta tabs. I bought the S5 cream, but my hair towards the back of my head is too thick to get it to scalp without wasting half of it on the tip my hair.

Its redundant, but I don't get side from minoxidil and I am trying to just save as much hair as possible.

Thanks, I make few adjustments.

Dude, oral spironolactone will mess you up if you take it for too long. Like...it's what doctors will give to transgender patients! I believe people also use it for chemical castration. Scary stuff (imo) when taken orally.

Well you could swap out the finasteride for 0.5mg of dutasteride. Side effects are slightly more risky but since you are just asking for things to add to help/improve then theres an answer...

Your right it will, if you take it alone and long enough. I only use it for 2 weeks then stop.

If you really want to try oral spironolactone long term, you could combat the sides by:
1) Take 20-40mg nolvadex daily, just like bodybuilders do. It binds to the receptor to prevent estrogen from binding and causing gyno.
2) To resolve the limp dick, muscle loss, brain fog, you could take a weekly 200mg injection of testosterone.
