Is there more hair fall in winter than in summer ?

I am not on any regime except Nizoral 1%. I notice that with the arrival of december and the colder weather, more hair seems to be falling than previously.

Am I the only one to experience this ? Is this a season hair fall or is it the start of accelerated hair loss ? Did anyone also suffer from a more than normal loss of hair recently in these cold days ?

The winter months supposedly bring increased levels of testosterone, not sure about DHT, this inevitably will have some sort of effect on the hair on top of your head. It certainly has an effect on the hair on your face after all as beards grow faster in the winter.
