i am 30 with nw7 pattern forming, currently nw4ish, diffuse everywhere, with thinning donor

the guys i see who are young and balding fast, all have relatively thick donor areas. i have some hair left on top still, but very thinning donor too. none of my close male relatives have balding this fast. i usually keep my hair short but these are the sides grown out a bit from last year sometime over the holidays

sh*t is crazy man lol

why the f*** am i so thin? is this normal? is it just crazy bad hair loss? ive have random tests over the years about my hormones and thyroids etc, all have come back 'normal'. but maybe this sh*t aint normal, i need more tests?

I dont know if something is off hormonally or if you were maintaining a lot with minoxidil and you lost that...no idea

are you kidding me!? you regrow all that with finasteride? did you change anything else during that time? that's unheard of. you went from nw4 to fullhead basically. very very unusual for an male pattern baldness sufferer to respond that positively. congratulations to you. i see that your "donor" area is thinning, but how is the top doing now? did you maintain?

not only did i respond so well, but i started meds at 26ish when i was already nw3ish and had been balding since 18. the guys i see who get good regrowth are the ones who lost their hair very recently. that wasnt me. f*****g weird huh

i started min first for around a year, got good regrowth but it started fading, then added finasteride, went through crazy shed, then one year got this

my hair is probably similar to that mess now above lol, but i have it grown out a bit with concealer. hopefully ill regrow some by the end of the summer.
