Is This Hair Loss?? Help Me Gauge The Situation?

23 years old. Shed a normal amount of hair. Hair is totally wet,3 inches long,combed forward and in a dark room with flash as well as bright room.Opinions?

There is some thinning on the crown which may or may not be due to male pattern baldness. It is relatively minor and I had the same thinning in that area when I was 20 and reversed it with minoxidil. Almost 10yrs later had the same issue but it was much worse. If it really bothers you, minoxidil is good to try.

The hair is completely wet as you can see in the pics. Maybe it's because of that?? I combed the hair on top forward and on the back downwards while still wet. I do have a cowlick over there

Show your hairline. So far you are not losing any hair from what I am seeing.

You know if your hair is thinner than normal there or not. I am not here to convince you if you are or not. Some scalp is showing which could be some thinning or the combo of the cowlick+wet, just keep an eye on it. Your hair is thick enough to cover any further thinning if it comes to pass.

My elder brother who's 25 has male pattern baldness. He got it confirmed from a derm whereas I was marked as safe. Still I wanted an opinion as it's definitely there in the family. If I lose my hair,I lose myself and my nomral,cheerful life. I might meet avicii

I'm also afraid to workout as I feel it might trigger male pattern baldness due to an increase in testosterone

Keep monitoring your hair by taking pictures every 6 months and comparing. If you notice any changes get on finasteride.
