I have a bump on the top of my head which creates am area that is lower relative to the rest of the top scalp. I don't know if it is the begining of what could be a norwood 4a pattern or just the shape or my head.

Here are the reasons that make me think that isn't male pattern baldness:

It's just your head shape, they come in different forms and it can differ from the way you were delivered when you were born, how the doctor pulled you out, they usually pushed on the belly and it could form some bumps on the head and they should go away in something like 6 months but not all the time the scalp sutures the bones perfectly and bumps remain, i have one also all tho is on the right side of the temple.

It's less common these days because there are more and more women who go for c-section birth and you remove that risk of modeling the babies scalp when trying to get it out... Besides that if the bumps are too obvious the baby should were helmets and get massages until it's bones fixate themselves permanently..
There are more causes of the bumps or deformations tho you can get an idea searching google for it and it's causes...
