Is This Male Pattern Baldness ? Any Advice Appreciated

Hi, I am 21 years old. This has been going on for about 2 months now, with me noticing hair on my hands while showering. In the past 2 months, more and more hair on my hands when showering. Loads today. Along with this, I've beginning to notice bald spots in my hair. It's not noticeable from far away, but very obvious when my head is under light. Head is often tingly and itchy too. I have a family history on my mums side with both of her brothers going bald early on, but my dad still have a good set of hair at 54. I went to see the doctor and he said I have a higher density at the back, and did the pull test and a just a few hairs came out. He said it is male pattern baldness, just presenting in an unusual way. If it is, it is, I guess I don't really mind, and I will just have to deal with it. However, I would like a second opinion just in case.

It's hard to tell given that the first two pictures don't have the same angles/quality as the last one. Not sure whether your doctor recommended anything but with MPD it's always best to be preventative. I would definitely rec getting some keto or saw palmetto shampoo. Maybe look into low dosing finasteride, too (but research this thouroughly before you make the decision.)

male pattern baldness dont progress this quick. and its diffuse too.. and hairline is good... may be hormones playing with it, throid, prolactin test may help, must test it while shedding. Me too have same problem, it shedding october end, november full, it stopped december 1st week, but till now no sign of recovery. my diffuse bald stop is more wrost than you, if my bald stop appear to be increasing, i will just start finasteride 0.25mg.

you said itchy scalp, try ketokonazone 2% shampoo - day one, then day 3, then 2 times a week, its a good antifungal and also some study claims it will block dht externally from scalp at small amount!!

thanks man. I have got a keto shampoo mate, cheers. Gonna use it twice a week. two scared of finasteride at this moment in time.
also should maybe note, I really struggle with my head tingling too, don't know if this is relevant.

thanks Hemanth bro. I got a keto shampoo and gonna use it. I think maybe me and you have the same thing brother. I just hope my shedding stops eventually, so sad it keeps falling out . i got a blood test, and it seems like my vitamin D was slightly low, but just very slightly, so unlikely to be that. GP didn't really care, so I am going to get a second opinion. how are you doing ? did you start low dose of finasteride ?
