Hey guys I’m 25 and noticed my hair has been thinning over the last year or two. Started using nioxin thinning kit but doesn’t seem to be working. Does this look like male pattern baldness?

I'm not a temple thinner so I don't know what advice to give. I'd start on finasteride and everything else you can. Most of this stuff is pretty cheap nowdays (finasteride is $14 at COSTCO) (ROGAIN is $20 3 months) Try SAW PAW, BIOTIN... It looks pretty aggressive to me, but you can slow it and/or reverse maybe being young...

Yes, it is. But it's in the first stage. It's the time you should opt for PRP as it is reaching to the middle part of your head after then you need to opt for FUE. so it's better to get the treatment to stop it right now.

PRP is useless. He shouldn't consider hair transplant until he has tried the big 3 at the very least

It is definitely male pattern baldness. Temple recession has reached near middle of your head .so act swiftly before its too late.
Experienced members have suggested a good plan to you. Follow these advise and be positive. Good luck

Have you had prp done?

Have you? I've read enough evidence and case studies to conclude that prp is a gimmick meant as an adjunct at most to real treatment. If it was that effective people would be using it widespread.

Recommending prp as a front line for hair loss is ignorance.

I haven’t either. My derm swears by it.... but I feel like it’s a gimmick as well.
Dude don’t trust every Derma. Some of them are really good others just want to make some money. Some try selling laser treatments but those don’t work.

The way you sweep your hairstyle I think might be hiding the full extent of your loss from these pictures but there is enough to say without a doubt that its male pattern baldness. It looks like you've developed what some people call "the island" which is that patch of hair that makes up the lowest part of your hairline in the middle of your forehead. Retinoid gave you the best plan you need because of how aggressive it looks. Also before you do any of this stuff read up on the side effects and educate yourself so you don't get blindsided (if) something happens. Seems like most people do not get severe sides but just be aware of it.
