So 3 days ago i had a normal shower and used shampoo. Ever since then my head has been so itchy and hair has been falling ALOT. I notice a little hair falling but now it feels so sudden for me. I am 16 and my hairline has always been a little high and it has receded a little.
Im pretty sure the itchy head and hair loss are linked as they started st the same time.
Please tell me what is going on

I cant go to a GP anytime soon

Do allergic responses and infections go away on their own, my hair is much more thinner and actually feels a bit oily/greasy

Normal to mature (recede a bit) at age 16. I’m also 16 and thought I was maturing, but then started diffuse thinning a month or 2 after. It’s always best to get checked out by a derm first. I’m still anxious every single day bc I’m balding so young & it led me to become obsessed and doimg an insane amount of research on hairloss. Because of this I really hope you aren’t, but like another person said nobody can even begin to access you without pictures.

You just don't suddenly start shedding hairs and then wake up and be like "Oh sh*t I'm bald" with male pattern baldness. You bald because of hair miniaturization and It's a slow process that takes years over many hair cycles. It just gets thinner and thinner and recedes more and more but since it's so slow you'll likely be in denial for some time and you probably won't even realize you're balding until you actually compare older pictures of yourself and realize how much worse it is.

As for the scalp itch it's very commonly associated with male pattern baldness but supposedly it's not directly linked. There's a possibility it could be dermatitis, in which case you can use zinc pyrithione (anti-dandruff shampoo) or Nizoral. They should both help with the itch to a degree. Also an unconventional method I find useful for the itch is to massage your scalp daily for a minimum of 5 minutes, that's just my lazier version though. The actual method requires two 20 minute massage sessions daily.

I used to go through INTENSE shedding and itching when I was younger. I scratched my head and dandruff literally covered my shoulders, and I was shedding like a madman. My hair looked totally fine for years after that (I was 14/\15, I'm 21 now), it got worse this year and I didn't experience massive shedding or itching but my hair got thin in a matter of months.
It started in February, I fell into a depressive state which continued until June, after a very horrible time for me that started the year before. Turns out I had a massive infection going on which resulted in pneumonia, I think that's what's caused the depression and thinning, I've been over the edge for about two years and my body was weakened to the point that even a sore throat took weeks to heal and I lost about 20kgs.

I guess what I want to say is: take care of yourself, do breathing exercises, eat healthy and try your best to enjoy life. Massage your head everyday, brush your hair and don't worry about the shedding that it causes. If you see the situation getting worse, consider taking supplements and if it keeps getting worse, consider medications. Stress is something you want to avoid at allo cost, and not just for the hair. Also, your crown looks completely normal, my 10 years old brother has got the same "hole" in it.
