Is This Normal For A 24 Year Old Male?

I’m posting a pic of my hairline.

I’ve looked around at photos of balding hairlines and mine (currently) doesn’t seem to be as bad as them, but then again perhaps it’s the start of something?

Maybe it’s just matured? Also that wispy part has been wispy for as long as I can remember. I’m not sure if that’s thinning or if it’s normal.
Thanks for answers.

You are fine. You have a pretty natural and healthy hairline for a man. It really doesn't look like you are balding at all. Do you have any bald relative? If not, I wouldn't worry about it unless you notice that you are losing density

Well that’s the issue I don’t know if they are diffusing or if they’ve always been that way. Some people just have thinner hair around there don’t they?

What about this guys, is this normal?

Don't mean to scare you or anything, but you MIGHT be starting to lose some hair. Of course that's just a possibility , as your hair is still pretty great for a 24 year old. I wouldn't stress too much about it, unless you start noticing it get worse. Save these pics and come back in 5-6 months with new ones. If your hair is the same then youre most likely not balding. If it's not - then I doubt your hair loss would of progressed too far in 6 months, so if you get on meds you'll keep what you have and regrow some if you've lost any.

If those were too ambiguous this is about is clear a view of the hairline as I can get right now:

Here’s my hair over a year since I started this thread

What Norwood am I and how does it compare with my previous pics?

You are about a Norwood 1 in my opinion. If you recede more and get to a 2 I'd try finasteride. You'll probably be okay for years to come.

I wish lol. I mean it does kind of look like 1 in the pictures but I don’t think styling my hair up shows my true hairline. If I was pulling it up with my hands you’d probably see more of a V shape.

Kind of looks like your hair density has reduced a bit, but that could be down to the difference in lighting between the earlier pictures and new pictures

Try to be consistent with the lightning conditions. Anyways I cannot see any noticeable changes in your hairline.
What about your crown?

Crown looks really different depending on the lighting. Both of these are from a month ago

The only difference is the second is getting hit directly by the sun. I can go from looking like I have a full thick head of hair to looking like I’m balding, depending on the conditions.

I had/have a very similar situation. Your hairline is maturing into a NW2, which is totally normal. Idk how old you are but most >25 have this hairline. However, it is possible it could continue as part of male pattern baldness. It's very possible you have male pattern baldness so I'd go check with a dermatologist and ask if they see any miniaturization. If yes, I'd hop on finasteride immediately. I've maintained my hair with finasteride for 6 years and was/am at the same exact point you are.
