Is this the mythical mature hairline? Is he on finasteride?

Among the many hairlines I've taken note of, this one guy's I find very interesting. He runs a beard youtube channel thing, and he sports a pompadour with a very noticeably receded hairline but seems to suit him perfectly (helps that his density is very good)

I was wondering what you think about his hair, is he on finasteride? Did his male pattern baldness just stop? Is it just his density that makes it look good?

I read one comment about his hairline to which he just replied: "I always has a weird hairline as a kid" (classic)

(younger photo of him, seemingly nw1, think hes in his mid 30s now)

Interested in what people think. Makes me think that rocking a nw2-3 (with density) might not be a bad thing

what an annoying looking ****, jesusbut yeah looks like a pretty standard receding hairline, styling it upwards like that probably covers any thinning on top (if there is any). Probably is on finasteride considering he relies on looks to make his money. And yeah it took me 8 years but I have finally come to terms with being a norwood 2, if your hair grows it grows, so what if its not in an ideal shape, if there isn't any thinning beyond the hairline you are well off.

Yeah, but that is the issue with the mature hairline business. Your borderline going bald and you will never if it stops or keeps going. Do you really think at Norwood 2 its never going to get worse in the next 20-30 years or whatever? I dont know anything that does not get worse with age although anything is possible. If you have any hair loss whatsover from a Norwood 1 I would just treat it as male pattern baldness right away. Today you have no choice it cant be reversed, and even stopping it is uphill fight. Earlier the better.
