I dont get it as well. People always feel competitive and challenged.
How about you guys start enjoying something because YOU like it. I dont even care if 100% of the worlds population would be bald some day. I want my hair either way.
I'm not sure what you guys mean.
There isn't just 1 reason why people like having hair. 'You liking hair' is a broad statement. It could mean anything. You could like having hair for a number of reasons.
My reasons:
1. I like hair because I look better with hair and can attract more girls.
2. I like hair because feel good and more confident with hair.
3. I like hair because I get compliments with hair and bullied as a bald guy. I'd rather the former.
4. I like hair because it keeps my head warm + stops me from getting sunburnt.
5. I like hair because It feels good to brush your hands through.
6. I like hair because I can mix up my look with different styles.
I emailed the European branch and the US branch of Fidia asking them about any info on this lotion and no answer yet. Probably not going to get an answer but figured it was worth a shot.
Fing frustrating when you're shedding like a dog and their is a possible positive treatment but you can't access it.
Most be like in the movie "Dallas Buyers Club"......

We like hair on our head because WE like it. And NOT because OTHERS like it. Of course thats a plus, but even if 99% of the girls would love bald guys more, I'd rather stay with my hair.. And somehow, many of you feel challenged by non balders. I don't want the tables to be turned, just everyone who wants hair should have hair.
It's like, if cancer patient would say: "If cancer gets cured, I am way more immune than others and they will all die way easier!" lol. I know thats not even true, but I guess you know what I mean. This is no competition imo, thats all.
@surfer9 Only your 2cnd and 6th point apply to my situation. The rest is a plus, but not the actual reason.

if you go to page 249 of this thread and look at my reposting of the correspondences with FIDIA they clearly state in the last one they will NOT be speaking to press or about the trials etc until they finish.

Just to be specific because i know the thread is 90% speculations
They never gave an exact time line..Fidia only confirmed trials were starting in May and only confirmed a quote they gave to DR Brotzu that he repeated in an article..Its there but i am paraphrasing its about that they are doing trials and may have news by end of the year.
No, it means I like having hair to my own benefit of self image rather than how others perceive me; I thought it was obvious.
Your #1 reason is the #1 reason of most men here: They fear that women won't find them attractive without their hair (which is almost always true) but what's debatable is whether these men in particular were able to get with attractive women beforehand. The impression I get from reading a lot of these posts is that the answer is a firm "no", but their lack of hair is a crutch to explain their inability to get with women who were always way outta their league.
I'd say I'd be a 7 on my best days and was definitely satisfied with the women I was able to get appearance wise. Without hair, that would knock me down significantly.
Despite that, girls are still of secondary or tertiary concern. I like how I look with hair, I like styling it, it's a part of my identity. I was always known as "the one with the hair"...at one time in a negative way and later on, in a positive way. I don't want to wake up and not recognize the person in the mirror, so I take the finasteride, spray the minoxidil and wash with keto religiously and keep up with developing treatments so that I can avoid this fate at all costs.
Guys who are just obsessed with what women are going to think about them without hair are likely in need of lower standards rather than higher hair density. If you are a 4 on your best day with hair, you won't lose too many points without it and still won't be sleeping with supermodels if you get it back.

@That Guy how optimistic do you feel about this lotion to date? You seem one of the most knowledgeable about this subject. To me all I'm holding on to at this point is the fact that it was created by a well respected doctor and the fact that there is also a journal logged with the results. From what I've read you seem like you're in the same boat as me, young guy in there twenties looking for a bridge until 2020.

My hair is my personality, my self expression so to say, and yes, i can't imagine hitting on girls bald but I'm in a relationship for 3 years now and my girlfriend doesn't consider balding a big deal, but for me it's depressing, so I keep fighting even if I still had my girl with a shaved head.
