Guess what pretty boys, the cost is the most important factor. You think Finasteride made so much money because cost didn't matter? It was because it was dirt cheap and people were ready to try it. If cost didn't matter each of us would have gotten hair transplants and walked away. If it costs £100 per month like Dr.Brotzu expected initially, that is £1200 at least for the first year. And it is aimed at the younger generation, not for the old guys who have gone bald already, and made enough money, what makes you think people just getting a job or starting out would be able to put that much money in it? The company would have thought about it for sure, I don't need to explain this to you guys.

Btw, where did that rumour that some other company is doing trial came from? and that the results will be processed only in februaray?

If that is indeed true, it just looks stupid from my perspective. They should have seen if the lotion was efective at 4th or 5th month of the trial and started the mass production immediately..

At ASAA congress at Genova's Gaslini Hospital, Brotzu explained well this point. He said there are many studies that confirm the usefulness of the liposomes in many topical treatments. He quoted the work of many Nobel-prize winners, and in particular the scientific experiments and demonstration that positively charged liposomes attach to the skin and then release what they carry inside (in all cases, a medicine). [...]

Great post, thanks for sharing this!

Brotzu is definitely not a scam artist, he's a brilliant doctor with an impressive resume and that's all the evidence I need. I don't even need any more details on this lotion, all I want right now is a release date and an online pharmacy that sells it.

Absolutely.

There are so many 'natural' supplements out there that are potentially harmful and nobody cares.

On the positive side, this delay could also mean that Fidia is a legitimate company and they're following all the procedures and taking extra precautions.

I belive they know it works they are ready to sell but i belive what they are doing now is that they make the lotion so it wont Cure us 100% they Will Make it so we need to buy it over and over

I don't trust pharma companies either but we have reasons to be optimistic. The lotion was always meant to be a lifelong sentence (and I'm fine with that!), there are no logical reasons why they should sabotage their own product.

@beps63, what do you mean by "Telogen Effluvium"... I mean I know what it is but I don't know why you used this expression because this is not linked to male pattern baldness.

Telogen Effluvium is fully reversible and normally there aren't any "minitaurized hairs".

Maybe something got lost in translation?

I think Beps meant to say "I do not know when THE lotion comes out", he just forgot the 'h' in 'the', and the system automatically sees 't e' (without space) as the acronym of 'Telogen Effluvium' and it changes the text, exactly in the same way it acts when you write "A G A", or "a g a" (without spaces).

Not really. I have enough money set aside to fill in my temples 3 times over but money simply isn't the issue.
How are you going to maintain? And how will you reconcile yourself to compromised hair density once more effective treatments incompatible with hair transplants are released?

I do concede, however, the price is likely to be a major factor for the company. That's why it's so important we get to the bottom of this lotion if it gets shelved. Because I suspect no one would give us a straight answer whether their decision was down to the profitability or efficacy.

Hey guys, i posed this question on the last page and want someones opinion that knows about patents

If fidia owns this patent and the lotion doesnt seem to have a proprietary compound (unlike rivertown or samumed), whats to stop another company from producing a s-equol + dgla topical, especially if they change the formulation a little?

I ask this because if for some reason fidia drops the ball on this and we want to get our hands on it, I'm wondering what the possibility is of another company producing their version of it.

Thanks
