I think he was pretty much completely bald by 2004. Some people that I know actually met him - believe it or not but he was into video games
Tricomin was shampoo and conditioner.
There was some stuff he was using which was mix of spironolactone and something else... I think it was spironolactone, minoxidil and something else. It was made by Dr. Proctor.
I can hardly remember the name... Prox-N ?

Exactly Prox-N, a type of peptides of Dr. Proctor. Possibly spironolactone, but not minoxidil if I remember well

Intercytex and Aderans didn't failed because of money, they failed because they sucked

Aderans was very well funded, so much that they even bought the Intercytex assets

There is a reason why not a single treatment has advanced to Phase III, and money has never been the issue.

Intercytex became financially unstable in 2008 and wound up selling their assets, but it was not enough to keep them running. Their 2nd Phase trials were disappointing, but with more research, it could have been improved.

Aderans discontinued funding their hair research, but were open to continuing it on someone else's dime. The results showed that the Ji Gami process worked to revitalize follicles, but wasn't true multiplication liked they'd hoped. They effectively achieved what Shiseido is after years ago, but discontinued financing it either because they didn't have the dough or simply didn't want to pay for it.

I'd hardly say these companies "sucked", they were promising treatments and if the cash flow didn't stop, they very well could have achieved their goals or we could have at least had better treatments today.

Was thinking about this brontu/fidia lotion. If the reports are true and it takes up to a year for regrowth, and saying fidia started their trials when this thread began (feb), then its possible their trial may also last 1 year. That means we may not hear anything from them until early next year.

If regrowth takes that long, i cannot imagine them releasing photos earlier which would likely show less impressive results than if they waited.

So although the lack of info from them worries me, we dont really know the length of their trial so maybe this is a totally reasonable amout of time and we shouldnt expect anything until the new year at the earliest.

I still use this crap - folligen by Dr.Pickart.
He died recently and his daughter Loren took over the business. I even don't know if this stuff does anything but I still use it anyway

Maybe, maybe not. If they think they have a promising product, they are gonna try to release it as fast as possible to make more money.
