This thread should of been locked after Fidia's last announcement, and then unlocked in 2018 if Fidia made another a new announcement.
their trial must be completed.. or at worst they have numbers because their trial started arround 01/2017... They know how effective (or not) it is. We just have to wait for the next news which will close the case or not...

Lmao that would be awesome, imagine all the news full of: Group of bald ppl is spamming the twitter account of a pharma company that promised a lotion to grow hair back with memes related to hairloss.

That´s the spirit! Come on, let´s rock their world! ;)

But isnt it very strange that NOONE (especially from italy) knows someone who works there and leaks atleast a small info like.

- talked with the guys responsible for it its looking good
- oh that hair thing? It sucks we make jokes internally
- they are preparing release afaik

I mean If I knew a company in my country works on sth like this, I would try to get info and I think there is a high chance of getting it.

A lot of that's supposedly happened already, but the credibility from the people who tell it matters a lot.

Because it's a poorly designed drug from an ancient time, it's a shame that it remains our best weapon against baldness 20 years later
Ik il, i agree 100% with your opinion on finasteride nevertheless we can't deny the fact that almost 90% of the ppl that take it report positive results on their hairs.
And as every drug in the market nowadays you should consider risks and benefits and take it at your own responsibility

90% effective? Impossible. 90% is the percentage of people who suffer side effects. Why is there so much hypocrisy? In addition, taking a blocker of the enzyme 5 alpha reductase chronically is crazy.
Accept it. Nobody likes Finasteride. For something it is.

Erm, he was also manually perparing a months supply, any product has to have at least a one year shelf life. If it cant be mass produced to be stable for that long then it is useless as a commercial product.

Fidia don't owe anyone here anything, they are a commericial operation whos only interest is making money. If it works and is commerically viable it will come out when it comes out.

After giving one update stating that they expect to complete development by 2018, I would say it’s no stretch to expect that they give an update. ‘Owe’ might not be the right word, but common-sense would compel one to expect an update around 2018.

It's 83%, for 10 years and tendency goes that it works fine for even longer. Rossi et al. study.

I didnt say that ppl like it, im taking it myself and i hate doing so, but imo taking is less painfull than being bald at the age of 19!

I don't know why but I have a good feeling about 2018, and not for hair loss treatments only but in general. Maybe it is me secretly hoping it is after 2 personal crap years, but my boys and girls the future is bright and exciting with it being the year things come to fruition, and if the cxxc5 protein is the catalyst (I know wrong thread) then there is an actual end to this dark, dank tunnel. Don't care if people in 2005 said the same or in 1823 B.C., we are finally getting somewhere (I feel, anyway).

People’s lived experience says otherwise.

That's what people said 100ds of years ago when someone told them that the earth is not flat. Facts and studies are the only things that matter in research. Won't say that finasteride is a godsend, but - just considering efficacy - it's not so bad either.

3 weeks of holiday... 3 WEEKS... while we are balding!
InFuriaTing!
Typical Italy. I cant imagine any other country where company can be closed for 3 weeks. Last year I got free day only 24,25 becase it was weekend. Then normal workdays. And yet people ask how so the italian economy is having problems :-D
