Guys... I know this all sounds very heroic but this is not a movie where after an emotional epic speech we all roar and ride into battle to fight orks.

But i've already bought us all horses.

A couple of questions for people who are - taking Finasteride with good results and have been losing hair for more than 5 years.

1) If Brotzu turns out to be a success in the regard that it can replace finasteride without serious side effects, how will you taper off finasteride? How long will you stay on finasteride?

2) Say that the Brotzu lotion does stop further loss for you and you successfully taper off finasteride, will you be getting a transplant?

3) One more question - Has it been noted other than the fact regrowth is best seen in younger patients - that older patients would still benefit from it’s halting hairloss abilities (i’m 35).

I have been on finasteride for 4 years with good results and minimal side effects (i’m about a NW2.5) and the reason i started (apart from the obvious) is that i hoped i’d only need to take it for a few years before a better treatment came along, as up until Brotzu i have been putting off a transplant as i don’t like the thought of being on finasteride forever.

A combination of a successful Brotzu lotion product and a FUE transplant would be the nearest thing to a cure for me, the thought of having a transplant and not worrying about any of the hair falling out (native or transplanted) sounds too good to be true to me...

Thanks

1. Not gonna try first for sure. I have no sides even on dutasteride.

2. No, transplants looks awful in my opinion. There are a few lucky individuals who have the type of hair where transplant looks ok.

3. Nobody knows for sure. There is no guarantee right know that brotzu lotion is not another snake oil sh*t. Yeah we can circle jerk about it here and try to theorize but you’ll just have to wait and try it for yourself. I’m sure that if it really works some people will have sides and some people will be nonresponders like with every single drug for hairloss out there. Time will tell.

I disagree. Hairloss isn't taken seriously by the medical community, nor by anyone else. Nobody understands that this impedes hundreds of millions of people all across the world. And when confronted with the uncomfortable fact that hairloss is a leading cause for depression, anxiety and many other debilitating factors, they say "just shave it off and go to the gym!". GTFO with that BS. WTF is wrong with people???

Disagree with what exactly? I would never tell someone to shave it off unless they have perfect skull for it which is rare. Hair loss sucks. I'm going through the same sh*t lmao. That's why I'm here.

I would never stop fighting hair loss. Concealers, medication, hair transplants. Whatever it takes until I lose the battle. But I'm also aware my life does not depend on it. You must understand that too.

Keep fighting hair loss but accept it is not entirely in your control. In the mean time try improving yourself in everything else that you are in control of.

Gym is a good start. Feels good to have better body than 90% of population. Hearing compliments left and right gives you huge confidence boost. Works for me. I don't see any reason why it won't work for someone else.

Ive been taking finasteride for about 7 years. I plan on continuing to take it even if brotzu is effective for at least a few years. If I notice significant regrowth with brotzu, I will taper off finasteride to a few 1mg dosages per week. If I notice a shed from the reduced consumption I will return to normal dosage. I have been receding for several years. I was a Norwood 2.5 when I started finasteride and I’m sill a Norwood 2.5. Maybe lost a quarter inch over 6/7 years. I’m 3 months post hair transplant of 800 grafts that will bring me to a Norwood 2. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply

I guess the question that sticks out here is - if some of us are successfully taking finasteride and we start using the brotzu lotion, what if we are only destined to get the complete halting of hairloss effects of the lotion and not the regrowth? How do we know the lotion is working if we are still taking finasteride?

I guess at some point we would obviously hold our noses and quit finasteride to see what’s really going down...

I’ve got a consultation with Dr ******** in May so a successful launch on the 14th would tie in nicely for the road to getting my sanity back...

Let us pray

Our Father who art in heaven
Brotzu be thy name
Thy lotion come
Thy hair become
Full again

Give us today our daily thread
And forgive the finasteride shills
As we forgive those who dump snake oil on us

And lead us not unto JUSTing
But deliver us from baldness
For thine is the lotion, the baldlet, and the big mac forever
Amen

It doesnt make sense to mention it now since its not a public event. They will probably say after its over that they attended and said x y z

Guys... I know this all sounds very heroic but this is not a movie where after an emotional epic speech we all roar and ride into battle to fight orks.

This is reality.

The reality is that there might be a new alternative to fight hair loss in a few months. It might be longer. So far, we have not seen actual evidence that is a reason to get our hopes up. Believing a guy that says that this will definitely come out with promised effects is ignoring reality. Ignoring reality creates suffering.

Now.. to make sure that this post will not get showered in dislikes:

BROTZU WILL SAVE US ALL, ALL HAIL BROTZU, DEATH TO THE INFADELS !!!!!!
Will we see news hairs ? I say yes my friend!

@Dontwannabeabetabob you just disliked two conflicting posts, so my ability to infer your opinions from the liking and disliking (usually the latter) is itself compromised. I know you don't like to contribute anything to the discussion and prefer to just like and dislike posts, but please do so in a consistent way so we can at least pretend like you're a part of the conversation. kThx
I'm starting to like you.

If i would be fidia what i would do is make an announcment after the conference and launch it in May. The more shortterm it is, the bigger is the hype for initial buy.

Nonetheless, this is a medicinal product, its revenue is much more important when viewed long term, so i could see why it would get released later like in October too.

With RCH-01 coming out Fidia needs to release as early as possible

Do we know that beps actually is Brotzu’s son? @Clockwise, I know you were in touch with him, did you by chance ask him about his participation on GourmetStyleWellness? I tried my luck some time ago and messaged him on Facebook, asking if he was @beps63 on this forum. No answer though (as expected).

We are not 100% sure but I would argue that it is pretty clear that beps63 is Brotzu's son. His english (with some Italian mixed in) is consistent. His posts make sense. Also the abstract he posted looks very legit, so I don't know why he shouln't be the real one.

He is also on the italian forum (well, used to be, now he only posts here). There was a time when even Fidia posted on the italian forum back in 2015/16 but they removed everything and went silent.

They have been on track to meet their release so far, any evidence for your claim? Or are you just taking a wild stab in the dark

Educated guess. Past is prologue. What evidence do you have that they are “on track?” We don’t have tangible evidence that the treatment truly works at halting hair loss, and even less that it could cause regrowth.

Also, we are in the fourth month of 2018. 2018, the magical wondrous year that was alleged to transform the hair loss industry. How many of you truly believe things are going to be any different or that there will be legitimate, effective new treatments on December 5, 2018?
