I can surely sympathize with your worries, GHG. I also have lots of diffused thinning on the top and frontal portions of my head. It's been a huge blow to my confidence and self-esteem, so I understand what you're going through. I was using Propecia for 10+ years with great success, but it's not very effective anymore. No long term studies available. I'm considering hair replacement (system). Still weighing out the pros and cons, but I'm leaning towards it as I would not make an attractive bald person. Many fellas can pull that off quite well, but not me

Yeah I have been checked for that. TSH was like 2,29 or something, I (and many who know more about thyroid diseases) think it's pretty high but it's still well in normal range so the doctors won't do anything about it. My sister also has the same kinda eyebrows and I don't think she's hypothyroid... my mothers eyebrows are virtually invisible (white).

You need to check t3, t4, reverse t3 etc. Thyroid could have something to do with speeding up male pattern baldness...

ghg, ditch the drugs, go bald. These drugs are literally taking away your manhood, with the lowered testosterone and making you feel like crap. Even if these drugs gave you NW1, with these side effects you will not have any chance with women. Women want testosterone. You rock the bald look, you look badass, I have said this before. Ditch the drugs, get your hormone levels in order, build muscles with normal testosterone levels, and then go after women. Many will still reject you. But many will not.

Yeah thanks guys. I think I'll wait 'til the 3 month mark with the proscar, which is in 2 weeks. If nothing has happened by then with the stuff, I don't think nothing will ever happen. I was on it for 1,5 yrs and nothing happened then for fucks sake . Nothing but sides, that is.

I can garantee you, you wont see anything at 3 months. 9months is the recommended trial time, and if you're expecting some kind of impressive regrowth forget it!

If you go into it expecting regrowth then you'll be dissapointed if you aim for maintaining you might just get that.
Hairloss is not an overnight progression it takes month or even years for the miniturisation process to happen so therefore why would you expect reversing that process to be any different. Once that miniturisation process has happend theres not alot you can do to recover those follicles but you may be able to save the ones that are not too far gone.
From what I've seen in my years on here the only people who claim to get regrowth are those who are not far along the m.p.b road.

Your head shape is fine. I would kill for your angular masculine jawline

Your eyebrows are a bit weak though. I think you would look awesome with thicker eybrows; or maybe try a Micahel Jai White type goatee (to masculanize your lips). With some facial hair, some thicker eyebrows, some grown up clothes, you will look total badass.

Yeah, but the problem is that I can't grow any decent facial hair. My beard is almost white and very thin. Goatee is impossible and full beard looks ridiculous .
