Dude is hiding his baldness with a hat in nearly every photo. Yeah, he's really 'embracing' baldness.

former good looking guy can't embrace the fact that he's pretty much bald

When your hairline is that far back, only option is high, and tight.

I work with a guy like Matt Goss, wears a touque in the winter, hat in the summer, and you never see him without it on. We wear hardhats in my field of work, guy literally carries his hat with him every where he goes. For a split second you might be able to get a glimpse of his scalp, but he's pretty good at avoiding certain areas of exposure. being a a hat prisoner is serious business.

Scratch that, I meant his brother Luke goss. Matt is a hat prisoner.

I remember them in bros, didnt think they were particularly attractive, although they've both aged very well.

Luke is hot as hell bald

What a ****ty existence. Reminds me of edge from U2. Guy probably goes to sleep in his hat.

Thing is with edge, he looks reasonable shaved but he's ruined by a pluggy hair transplant and FUT scars.

Being a hat prisoner is worse then embracing baldness. It's living a life with hair, but without it at the same time. What happens when the hat needs to come off, eventually it will, people will feel deceived that you misrepresented yourself. The worst are the ones who keep a horse shoe pattern as if they had hair, then put a hat on top.

I think i'd rather live the rug life then be a hat prisoner.

Edge is actually a really good looking guy with the shaved/bald head:

Agreed about the whole hat prisoner set-up. It actually dwells you deeper in deeper into misery then going the embrace route of hair loss. people will look for any chance they can get to ridicule you, and grab that cap of your head. Then what?Women, and men will be profound of your scalp, and in shock. In the long run it's better to go the rug, plug, and drug route then become a hat prisoner.

it takes guts to embrace it but once you do it's all over. No more being afraid if someone is behind you, and takes your cap off. getting intimate with women, and in the back of your head all you can think about is the cap is going to have to come off sooner or later. it's much easier to embrace is it in the long run, then live life behind a hat.

only trade-off is less female encounters with women because they see the real you, for who you really are

@jersey dude
Considering the fact that you are openly saying we should shave it off, i think you are happy or even less content with your hair. So why are you here??

Hey OP.. your head cant be a big as mine... as an old fart here.. my advice for most of you guys, is to just shave and get it over with.. I wish I did earlier. Don't get me wrong, it still blows.. but Dr Evil > Dr Phil.
Please don't start posting these kind of comments on these threads, it is insulting to people on here suffering from hair loss, i.e. Everyone on here.
We go on this website because we want to do something about our hair loss and don't want to hear down-right idiotic comments like 'Just shave it off', it's like saying man up. ****ing negative and horrible.
You have no idea how other people feel or are going through. Loosing their own self-image.

Hair loss suffers should use everything they can handle. Max out your DHT inhibition at all costs.

I do agree with Fred though on the any hair is better then no hair. I noticed this recently on a NW6 colleague, had it grown out to a #1 and it increases his aesthetics by a point or so. So compared to shaven, it makes a huge difference.

'Perception is everything' my wise old counselling tutor use to say . how we perceive our selves as balding guys individually makes a huge difference . If I shaved my head and perceived myself as being like Jason statham I'd probably walk this earth happy lol. If you perceive yourself as ugly through not having hair then it's going to really fcuk you up , you may well still be attractive however through perception your confidence will be zero and your body language suck - major turn off for women. That's not say people can change their self perception by pretending to be Jason statham lol you have to believe it lol hard to do obviously . That wise old tutor also said 'acceptance can sometimes bring you peace' so getting the buzz cut can be a sigh of relief too. Anyway I don't know if my post helps the op in anyway ... Sometimes you just run clearly out of options for hair. And as I say women smell confidence and find it attractive - maybe you can find that confidence through other means - being bald doesn't make you unattractive , I was bald for years but dressed super well , worked out every day , and walked into a bar as if I owned it - never had a problem with birds . Anyway op I wish you well , don't give up on life due to hair - my brother is cue ball and the twa't always has a stunning bird on his arm !
